Registration Fees
Costs are charged in EURO and include all applicable local taxes:
- Week ticket: €350
- Day ticket: €125
- Student ticket: €50
- RIPE Dinner ticket: €50
Registration Process
Everyone that attends must first register via the meeting website.
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers (from certain countries) and PayPal. If you have issues completing the payment, please email meeting [at] ripe [dot] net. Cash will not be accepted.
You can also pay on site at the Registration Desk when you arrive.
When you check in at the Registration Desk, you’ll receive a meeting badge with your name on it. You must wear this visibly at all times while in the meeting area.
Presenters, RIPE Working Group Chairs and the RIPE Programme Committee members pay to attend the meeting like everyone else.
All new LIRs receive two free RIPE Meeting week tickets (excluding the RIPE Dinner ticket).
Confirmation
We’ll send you a confirmation email with your unique registration number once you submit the registration form. Please keep this email for future reference.
Cancellation of the Meeting
The RIPE NCC may cancel the Meeting due to unforeseen reasons beyond the control of the RIPE NCC without being liable for any damages except the refund for the price of the ticket (excluding any additional (credit card) costs made to fulfil the payment). Other expenses made by the Registrant (e.g. hotel) shall not be reimbursed by the RIPE NCC.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation, we will issue a refund for your meeting ticket (minus an €25 administration charge to cover bank fees) when cancelled no later than ten (10) days before the first day of the meeting. If you need to cancel, please email meetings [at] ripe [dot] net.
You’ll be charged in full if you’ve registered and don’t show up.
Substitution of Registration
If you’ve registered and can’t attend, you can allocate your ticket to someone else by emailing meeting [at] ripe [dot] net with your registration number and the contact details of the person taking your ticket.
Liability
If you can’t attend the meeting for any reason other than cancellation of the meeting, we will not be liable for any resulting losses, financial or otherwise.
Privacy, meeting audio/video recording, photography and live transcript
All your data is processed in accordance with the Dutch and EU Data protection laws and regulations.
During the meeting, photographs may be taken by either the RIPE NCC or photographers we’ve hired. If you don’t want your photo taken, you can request a special pin from the Registration Desk.
Many sessions are subject to video and audio recording for webcasting and archival purposes. Live transcript services will be provided in some sessions.
